Head - Data Science - EV Manufacturing

Overview :

We are currently seeking a Head of Data Science to develop Electric Vehicle 's analytical tools to perform data management, data mining and trend analysis, statistical analysis, and support data driven model development and continuous improvement.

This position requires a creative and analytical mindset with a strong understanding of data architectures, including modern approaches to cloud data storage, pattern recognition, and machine learning. The successful candidate should also have a solid understanding of the Electric Vehicle business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop data analytical tools to integrate data collected and provide a variety of data trend reviews on vehicle/pack/cell data

- Work with various internal team to support development of cutting-edge algorithms and analytics

- Develop goals for identifying interesting patterns including aging behavior, drive habits and other pattern recognition concepts by machine learning or any other algorithms for further related applications

- Develop various data processing, viewing, managing, and analytical tools to support engineering development in cross-functional teams

- Support advanced deep learning models and tools for data analysis and optimization

- Deliver documents related to data analytics algorithm development

Qualifications :

- 8+ to 15 years of work experience in data science, preferable in EV field

- 3+ years experience with Python, R, AWS, and database design and implementation

- Demonstrated experience developing and launching analytic platforms based on data science

- MS or PhD with supporting degree of Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science related Engineering preferred

- Experience in writing efficient code to process and analyze large data sets

- High level of mathematical and advanced data process and analysis capabilities

- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude

- Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects
