Head - Data Science & Credit Risk - FinTEch

Client of Asterion which is a fintech firm based in Noida is looking for a Head for their Data science and Credit Risk team.

As a Head you will be responsible for :

- Embark on opportunity to set-up a state of the art, Data Science and Analytics division to support niche clientele across global markets under the guidance of executive leadership.

- Responsible for creation of new data sciences capabilities for the business by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence improvement of the business's performance by enabling informed decision making.

- Familiarity with core elements of data science (regression, statistical analysis, machine learning/AI) along with sound business judgement to effectively bridge the gap between decision analytics and business needs.

- Incumbent must have Operational understanding includes classical regression, statistical methods like factor analysis, Clustering and hypothesis testing, modern machine learning methods.

Skills Required :

- Graduation / Post Graduation in statistics /economics / engineering from premier colleges and universities

- Work experience of 7 - 12 Years in the domain.

- Work experience in Financial Services/ Fintech/ BFSI along with Credit Risk and Data Science

- Experience with big data and hands-on experience in Python and R is a must
