Head - Data & Analytics - Manufacturing Firm (10-20 yrs)
Role responsibilities:
- Set-up a data and analytics practice and work closely with business stakeholders to drive adoption and deliver measurable business benefits. Also work on driving data literacy in business functions.
- Data Management and Architecture
1. Put in place mechanisms to ensure good data quality (esp. master data) from enterprise systems e.g., SFA, CRM, SFDC, etc.
2. Drive the design and development of Data Lake on AWS that includes external as well as unstructured data
3. Deploy analytics architecture in AWS environment
- Dashboard and Reporting
1. Create an organization level KPI tree structure and plan for dashboards as per the same
2. Bring in a structured approach to streamline existing dashboards (Power BI) under the tree structure
3. Create natural language query based dashboards
- Analytics and Data Science
1. Work with business to identify analytics use cases across the organization
2. Managing development of analytics models to ensure timely execution
3. Some of the use cases (illustrative) Custom Pricing, Recommendation engine for retailer orders, computer vision for merchandise, contracts etc.
- Team and stakeholder management
1. Collaborate with business to understand requirements of analytics applications
2. Coordinate with vendors to manage development and lifecycle of outsourced applications
3. Collaborate with developers to manage development and lifecycle of in-house applications
