Location- Mumbai

Job Description:

- Data Analyst will be responsible for organizing, collating, analyzing, interpreting, and displaying data related to market research and statistical data of the mutual fund industry using various business intelligence tools. He/ She shall lead the data analytics function. Mandatory Skills Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, R, Python, etc.),

- Database design & statistics development, Data Mining & segmentation, Data visualization software (like Tableau, Qlik), Creation & application of accurate algorithms to datasets, Solution oriented, Flagging risk captured out of data analysis, Communication & presentation

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Build, develop & maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key industry decisions.

- Lead cross-industry projects using advanced data modelling & analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualization & communication deliverables.

- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.

- Collaborate with regulator to design & build databases and processes to facilitate easy access and analysis of industry data

- Develop and implement data quality controls to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.

- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to data for the investment industry.

- Communicate results and industry impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.

The ideal candidate should have:

- 10+ years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, and drawing insights from the data, preferably in financial services sector.

- Strong programming skills with querying languages: SLQ, SAS, C, C++, JAVA, or other programming languages

- Experience with big data tools, testing tools, data visualization tools.

- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Team player with strong inter-personal skills to deal with personnel at various levels in the industry and at regulator.

Qualifications UG: BE / B.Tech./ Bachelor of Science (Computer Science/ Data Science) PG: MBA/PGDM/Master of Information Technology Experience10+ Years, Desired Skills : SQL, R, Python
