Head - Data Aggregation

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Work with multiple databases to analyze the most efficient use of, and collection of, accurate data and evaluate data sets that can be aggregated electronically keeping the volume, variety and velocity of data in consideration.

- Create and utilize many Excel spreadsheets to organize and manage multiple and complex transactional data sets from various sources and generate meaningful summaries and MIS.

- Solve problems through analysis of multiple data points and datasets simultaneously.

- Work with data and technology teams to improve the collection and accuracy of data sets

- Improve quality, productivity and procedures as related to data aggregation and operation.

- Provide direction to the team on best practice for data processing, harmonization, reporting and visualization for providing clear and insightful analysis of data to business and management.

- Own Quality assurance of this process.

- In the future, may be involved in product planning, requirement gathering and execution throughout the product lifecycle.

Experience & Skills

Mandatory Experience Required - 14-16 years of experience of which atleast 6 years in data aggregation.

- Strong quantitative orientation, a broad knowledge of Object Oriented databases, and able to visualize company's goal.

- Should be familiar with structured as well as unstructured data and be able to demonstrate an ability to structure and handle large data from all kind of data sources, separately and in combination.

- An understanding of analytics driving growth in software and solutions selling is important.

- High proficiency in analytical tools.

- Experience with data science, statistical analysis, data mining and predictive algorithms.

- Work with, merge, harmonize and cleanse different data sources according to the company's needs.

- Experienced with large-scale data storage scheme with familiarity in data warehousing, database concepts, and distributed data storage systems.

Essential Skills Required - Experience in database (database development, data processing/ management, data analysis)

- Work with domestic and/or global competitive data suppliers in troubleshooting issues with data timeliness, accuracy, and/or categorization.

- Prioritize tasks and proactively manage workload to ensure all deadlines are met (or exceeded), while ensuring all work is accurate.

- Knowledgeable with data aggregation and manipulation using a large set of formats and Databases.

Educational Qualification

Advanced degree / post-graduation in Mathematics/ Statistics or Computer science from an institute of national repute.
