Role Dimension: Head CSR - New Ventures
The Head CSR - Co's New Vetures/New Ventures is seen as an involved, responsible and forward-thinking corporate citizen. Will be responsible for managing community programs overall, to ensure that they benefit the local communities as well as the Company objectives.
- Will be the custodian of overall CSR budget and ensure its effective utilization by building winning partnerships with communities. Develop, analyse and evaluate the impact, resource requirements and cost/benefit of new programs. Propose new programs and initiatives to key business leaders.
- To develop and keep the CSR strategy and programs under review and adapt as appropriate to stay aligned with business objectives. Work with external partners to build synergies and effectiveness to drive the maximum possible social and financial impact of the CSR programs.
- Evaluate CSR initiatives against industry standards; analyse results and develop action plans to ensure a best in class CSR program.
- Develop strategies and materials for the communication of CSR initiatives to all internal and external audiences, ensuring overall messaging consistency across business units and throughout corporate communications.
- Promote the CSR program and activities via the company intranet, corporate website, and our digital channels. Actively contribute to communicating the compelling company and employer brand messages
- Plan and promote events to engage employees and raise awareness of CSR programs. Identify and cultivate relationships with company peers in CSR initiatives.
- Ensure overall programming and messaging consistency across while accommodating unique programs and communications that are locally resonant and appropriate.
- Develop teams and build capabilities across the organization to successfully execute the community programs.
Specifications of the Ideal Candidate:
- A candidate with large operating companies including and outside O&G domain, having seen the complexity of large CSR operations is a must.
- Ability to influence and lead at organizational level. Should be able to think strategically and with demonstrated capability of having worked in diverse geographical areas with the right thought leadership and executional capability.
- At least 12- 15 Yrs. of CSR background with strong business acumen and understanding of business operations would be desirable.
- Educational Qualification: Graduate/MBA with 60% through outwith gap not more than 1 year
- Proven commercial awareness and astuteness
