1. Should be a solution provider than just compliance/legal opinion 2. Should be open to working in a rapid paced/demanding startup environment 3. Should be able to represent the company to the highest levels of regulators 4. Should be a strategic thinker with high efficiency to lead a team 5. Develop regulatory policies & procedures under approved Compliance Program, including review mechanism 6. Maintain and organize compliance records with internal control & audit mechanism 7. Keep track of and disseminate updates on regulatory & other statutory requirements to prevent violations thereof 8. Prepare compliance status reports to keep management informed of operations & progress of compliance efforts 9. CS+Legal+Compliance across at least 2 of the regulators - SEBI,RBI, IRDA 10. Atleast 15-18 yrs of regulatory compliance experience in BFSI industry along wih policy framework experience
