Head - Credit Underwriting - SME/MSME - NBFC

We are hiring for a leading NBFC/ Fintech firm, for the role of Head - Credit Underwriting; to be based out of Gurgaon.

Work experience required : 5-8 Years in a similar capacity across credit underwriting for SME's / MSME's

- Be a self starter and set up the credit under writing & assessment process, starting from scratch.

- Work on the entire life-cycle of the credit assessment process, starting from assessment of credit worthiness of SME's & MSME's, developing credit score, to writing credit policies and finally, avoiding any kind of NPA's.

- The incumbent will also be involved in periodic review of credit for SME's & MSME's from time to time, with a goal to ensure healthy wholesale/ channel finance books.

- Be a leader by all standards - recruit, train and upskill the credit team and scale it PAN India, with support from the senior leadership.

- Think out of the box, and come up with solutions to work towards automation of processes & functions with the product teams.

- should have worked in fin tech start up, handled unsecured MSME/SMEs

- handle analytics around credit

We are looking for:

- 4+ years of work experience in the relevant field

- Prior sales experience & team management experience compulsory

- MBA Finance from a Tier 1/2 college or CA with apt experience

- Looking for hands-on leader who is willing to get her hands dirty, right from directly interacting with SME's/ MSME's while on field visits, to hiring and upscaling the team.

- Strong team handling skills - experience in handling a large multi-tiered team

- Detail orientation and good data analytics skills is a must
