Head - Credit Underwriting/Monitoring - NBFC

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Deploy Credit policy which is aligned with business model as applicable.

- Actively partner with the business team and offer customized solutions

- Continually review credit policies and processes

- Be the single point of contact for the Credit Committee and cater to all the requirements ensuring 100% compliance

- Responsible for the review and approval of credit proposals and to maintain a good balance between returns and risks exposure

- Responsible for Credit Risk Management and continuously monitor credit performance across verticals/ geographies

- Review, assess and monitor vendor performance and periodical reviews

- Responsible for the administration and direction of the team members.

- Mentor the credit team and guide them on appraisal and assessment of credit proposals.

- Provide professional advice and support to the business team, understand all their requirements and recommend solutions to meet their requirements.

- Monitor, Track and Analyse credit performance and provide recommendations to business team for portfolio management

- Provide regular updates to all internal stakeholders on credit performance and offer actionable inputs

- Engages with the team and other internal stakeholders to implement, review and develop new credit framework/ tools and provide training/ coaching to continuously upgrade the competency of the team members
