Head - Credit Risk/Trade Finance - NBFC/Bank

About the Role: Responsible for assessing and managing the credit risk associated with our loan portfolio. You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring the financial stability and risk mitigation of our lending activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform in-depth financial analysis and credit assessments for loan applicants, focusing on the MSME sector.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.

- Monitor and report on credit exposures, defaults, and portfolio performance.

- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement credit policies and risk mitigation strategies.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit risk in the MSME sector.

- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and risk management practices.

- Participate in the development of training and educational materials for staff on credit risk management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in the NBFC or banking sector.

- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAS, SQL).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Knowledge of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in the Indian financial sector.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
