Job Title: Head - Credit Risk (Commercial Vehicle & Tractor Business)

Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage the credit risk associated with the commercial vehicle and tractor financing portfolio of the NBFC, ensuring optimal risk-reward balance, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and safeguarding the company's assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for commercial vehicle and tractor loan applications.
- Develop and implement credit risk models specific to the commercial vehicle and tractor industry.
- Monitor portfolio trends and identify potential areas of concern or opportunity.
Policy and Procedure Development:
- Review, update, and formulate credit risk policies and procedures specific to the commercial vehicle and tractor business.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Credit Decisioning:
- Provide guidance and oversight to credit underwriting teams.
- Review and approve credit limits, terms, and conditions for commercial vehicle and tractor financing.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and credit losses.
- Implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and enhance portfolio performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure cohesive risk management strategies.
- Engage with regulatory authorities and external auditors on credit risk-related matters.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and present regular credit risk reports to senior management and board committees.
- Utilize analytics tools and techniques to derive insights and inform strategic decisions.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing credit risk management team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and risk awareness within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of [14 years] of experience in credit risk management within the NBFC sector, with a focus on commercial vehicle and tractor financing.
