Head - Credit & Collections - BPO

We are currently looking for Finance & Accounts professionals for Collections operations with an MNC.

Role-Head of Credit and Collections

Function: Finance & Accounts

Location: Chennai

Years of experience: 12 +yrs

Qualification- CA, MBA Finance

Industry Preference-BPO and preferably who has handled a Telecom process

Other Requirements-

Open to domestic and international travel

Flexible to work in US Hours

Experience in managing a team

Key Requirement-

- Excellent understanding of collections accounting and cash application to debtor accounts and subsequent sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation.

- Knowledge of telecom collections and revenue streams.

- Excellent understanding of sub ledger to general ledger reconciliations.

- Strong appreciation and understanding of the downstream impact of collection operations.

- Must have experience of independently managing end to end collections operations.

- Experience of defining collections strategy and following through with collectors.

- Ability to drive collection performance during crunch periods like but not limited to month/ quarter and year ends.

- Ability to create metric driven operations by monitoring metrics such asnet collections, DSO, unapplied cash amongst others.

- Proficiency with MS Excel.

- Exposure to working in 3rd party P&L based environment.

- Transition experience will be a big advantage.

- Ensuring integrity of revenues booked to the ERP.

- Ensure all receipts for the month are applied to the GL as per the month close time table.

- Work market controller to report variance to provisions.

- Timely resolution of customer and business tickets.

- Drive DSO performance through targeted collection strategy.

- Deliver on daily productivity targets as per SLA
