Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement credit policies and processes for short-term personal loans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

- Lead and manage the credit underwriting team, overseeing loan application review, risk assessment, and approval decisions.

- Establish credit scoring models that accurately assess borrower risk and optimize loan approval rates.

- Analyze credit data and market trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.

- Develop and implement strategies to minimize loan delinquencies and defaults.

- Maintain strong relationships with credit bureaus and other data providers.

- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, sales, and collections to ensure a seamless lending experience for customers.

- Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes in the Indian lending landscape.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in unsecured lending.

- CA

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful credit policies and processes.

- Strong understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience managing and leading a high-performing team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
