Designation/Role : Head of Credit Key Responsibilities : - Review and refresh our existing credit scorecard to serve as an assessment tool for decision making on potential leasing partners. - Incorporate best practices in the current credit process. - Interact and coordinate the credit review process with our leasing partners. - Conduct quarterly reviews and updates on past credit assessment. - Coordinate with our external credit rating agency partner to support them on their analysis. Skill-Sets Required : - Ability to analyse in detail, financial statements of companies and identify risk/ potential liabilities. - Prepare a forecast on business and financial performance based on historical track record and industry trends. - Evaluate corporate filings including tax returns to flag likely concerns. - Attitude for research with a mindset to question information provided without taking things at face value. - Great communication skills with the ability to present thoughts in a concise manner in a report. - Strong conviction and confidence on one's work, especially when backed by quantitative research. Qualification : - 5-8 years of experience in credit analysis either as part of a bank, NBFC, fintech for SME lending, venture debt fund or a credit rating agency. - CA/ CFA/ MBA qualification. - Ideally has been involved in credit research for smaller companies including technology-based start-ups.
