Job Title: Head of Treasury

Location: Mumbai

Summary:

This position will report to Financial Controller and as a member of the Finance team, will be responsible for managing FX exposures and cash flows in multiple accounts/ currencies.

Role and Responsibility:

Managing operations for FX exposure and Cash flow

- Ensuring smooth processing and settlement of the activities and transactions undertaken by the above desks

- Monitoring and timely resolution of issues, if any, for a smooth and accurate booking, settlement and reporting of the transactions, Accounting and Financial reporting of FX and cashflow

Process and Technology improvements:

- Conceptualize, design, develop and implement technology initiatives to enhance process efficiency in various Risk and Operational models

- GAP Analysis of existing process and systems - Collaboration with the internal technology team both locally and globally to work on system enhancements and migrations to improve processing time and user friendliness

- Defining and gathering user requirements coordinating the interfacing process and user acceptance testing

Risk and Control Monitoring:

- Documentation of the control procedures within the team, identifying any risk areas in the process and working towards its elimination.

- Risk Monitoring of FX exposures

- Ensuring full support and timely completion for all the audits undertaken by multiple stake holders

Internal and External Reporting :

- Preparation of various Risk and Liquidity related reports

- Other reports as required, example: Maturities & Position (MAP), Value at Risk (VAR).

- Budgeting, Headcount and Variance analysis for Operations

Additional Requirements

- Should have excellent communication skills

- Should have managed FX operations across multiple currencies

- Domain expertise - In Banking, Financial Services, Insurance sector

- Total of 3-6 years+ of relevant work experience in BFSI/BPO

- Bachelors/Master's degree with specialization in any stream from reputed university.
