Job Location - Gurgaon

Purpose:

Develop mechanisms to ensure uniformity of quality standards, improvise quality process, procedure & measurement parameters and review process audits to enable efficiency of quality function to meet their intended outputs in line with company policies for maximum customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Strong in Engineering Quality, Vehicle Design & Integration, R&D, Product Strategy and Planning , Product Design and Development and Homologation. Sound knowledge of the Product Development Procedures.

- Develop/ improvise a quality assurance policy and quality control guidelines in collaboration with the other Quality Heads and oversee periodic reviews of the same.

- The candidate will be responsible for the overall quality function across the entire organization and all the Plant Quality Heads shall be coordinated to this person.

- Develop & execute product improvement process for resolution of various quality issues and coordinate with other departments for development of new products as per APQP & PPAP standards.

- Implement QA & QC processes with respect to system & controls, process audits improvement, vendor development, incoming material inspection, in-process & final Inspection etc.

- Develop supplier evaluation policy and visit new suppliers to evaluate their capabilities for delivering quality product and provide vendor development support and ensuring that it gets implemented across the organization.

- Reviewing existing processes and improvise/ generate new process in alignment with organization goal.

- Execution of quality tools and techniques like PPAP, SPC, APQP, 8D & RCA etc.

- Should be able to execute product improvement process for resolution of field problems and coordinate the same with other department members till resolution.

- Monitor production & quality procedures and practices and enhance processes as per PPAP to improve suppliers communication
