Head - Corporate/Project Finance - Thermal/Infra/Power/Renewable Sector

 Description - This job requires the hands on expertise of a project finance specialist with exposure in Thermal/ Infra/Power/Renewable Sector. You will be raising debts for project financing for a listed company.

If you are someone who has has demonstrated experience experience with working on a large constortium, where in you have Raised Funds of more than 1000 crores from a single bank in a huge consortium.

Our client is one of the largest renewable energy players with a strong global presence. They have a large portfolio of projects and are growing at a fast pace with presence in other markets as well. They are expanding their operations and hence, are looking to recruit a Head of Project financing, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Job Description : 

Reporting in to the Head of Finance and the Group CFO, as the Head of - Project finance, you shall be responsible for:-

- Raising debt in large scale transactions (up to more than 1000 crores of debts from a single bank).

- Ensure regulatory compliance for all transactions carried out by you and your team.

- Liaise with the business and the BUs to ensure that you are advising them on the best terms and proposals/strategies for receiving sanctions

- Come with a strong banking network

Profile: 

You will be a corporate finance professional with between 15-20 years of proven track record of raising funds primarily via the debt route. The ideal candidate would come from the energy or infrastructure space having raised a total of more than INR 7,000 Cr worth of funds including individual deals worth more than INR 1000cr. You will have excellent executive presence with a track record of leading teams and liaising with board of directors. An extremely hands on corporate finance leader with a stable career path is a must.
