Concern India works towards "Helping People, Help Themselves" by making the disadvantaged self-reliant & enabling them to lead a life of dignity.

Summary: The position will lead development and implementation of long-term sustainable strategies to raise financial resources for the programs of Concern India Foundation.

Job Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the development and implementation of the organisation's resource mobilisation strategy.

- Research and prioritise corporate donors to proactively approach, in line with the organisation's ethical guidelines; and anchor proposals and presentations to potential and committed donors, leading on these as appropriate.

- Ensure that organisation and the donor objectives are met to maximise income and opportunities from each relationship.

- Arrange regular meetings to review funding processes and progress with the Senior Management, providing update on funding progress and new opportunities, Management of existing fundraising relationships, in line with best standard practices.

- Ensure that all information added to or amended on the fundraising database is accurate and that the database is kept fully up to date under Donor Management System.

- Develop and maintain good relationships with corporate donors to ensure appropriate networking and presence at relevant events; ensure the exchange of good practices, ideas, and initiatives internally

- Keep up to date with fundraising and other appropriate industry journals, as well as other information affecting fundraising from corporates.

- Responsible for leading a team of two to three members.

Eligibility and Required Skills

Qualification

- Graduate / Post-graduate degree in business management or related field, from a reputed university/institute

Experience

- 8+ years plus of relevant work experience in similar organisational/functional context

- Experience in Business Development/strategic partnerships/fundraising

- Ability to partner with the various group companies, institutions and govt. bodies to bench-mark and converting it to the world class processes

- Good networking & communication skills

Skills and abilities

- A self-starter with the ability and drive to build the initiative

- Team management experience

- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team whose members have diverse backgrounds
