Their Flagship Programs are - Family Based Care (FBC): A curative programme of SOS Children's Villages of India that reaches out to over 6500 girls and boys in 32 Children's Villages across India. Holistic development including education, nutrition, health and psychological development is taken care of till the time children are settled in their lives. Family Strengthening Programme (Fsp): FSP is a preventive community intervention programme that covers over 17000 children at 32 locations across India. Designed to prevent children from losing parental care or from being abandoned, this programme runs in slums &amp; rural areas, within a 30 km radius of an SOS Children's Village. The beneficiaries of this program are children of the most vulnerable lot i.e. children of widows, single women, and Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. Spanning 3 to 5 years, the programme aims to enable families to move out of the vicious cycle of poverty towards greater dignity and self-reliance by ensuring education of children and income generating capacity development of the care givers. The incumbent will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and approaches to ensure the response to challenges presented through new business opportunities. Responsibilities and Results: - Responsible for achieving the fundraising target - personally lead the corporate marketing initiatives in assigned corporates - with special focus on closing deals/donations and achieving set targets as per the objectives of the organization. - Monitor achievement of Corporate Fund Raising targets and provide support to team members wherever necessary. - Obtain and share information on best practices/success stories with team members to build capabilities and increase fund generation. - Co-ordinate internal communications and awareness of organization direction, mission, aims and activities. - Responsible for conducting a survey of potential corporates and industry segments for fundraising - Responsible to conduct various fundraising initiatives and organize Fund Raising events. - Responsible for building a learning and development culture for fundraising team. - Responsible for proposal writing/processing of grant application Must Haves: - Master's degree / Diploma in a field with relevance to the position. - 10-15 years of experience in the relevant field with a proven track record. - Proven track record of developing strategies to raise resources from corporates. - Prior experience of donor profiling, networking, negotiating and influencing at a senior level. - Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi). - Must have significant and proven writing, presentation and people management skills. - Experience of working in the not-for-profit or development sector.
