Job Description - This job provides an opportunity to head the corporate finance for the 3000 + crore business, reporting to the head of finance directly & a parallel reporting to the MD. The job requires dealing with corporate finance and treasury related compliances including forex, interest rate, dividend policy. Your focus would be to raise funds of high value transactions to the tune of 1000 crores, new issuances etc.

They have a successful track record of identifying, developing and operating power generation assets across the thermal and renewable power sectors in India.

Description

- Responsible for all Corporate Finance & Treasury related activities of the Corporate Businesses

- Setting up of and maintaining all policies related to corporate finance and treasury like forex, interest rate, dividend policy, etc.

- Guide the Business Units to decide towards the most feasible bank proposal

- Have a very strong network with the banks to secure the loans in case the business units are not able to raise the funds

- Manage / supervise the sourcing of debt / funding for the projects and its related activities including refinancing activities from banking markets and debt capital markets

- Lead & manage all the equity related transactions (new issuance / IPO)

- Review Capital Structure, Cost of Debt / Cost of funding, Dividend policy and related activities

- Responsible for managing & ensuring compliance w.r.t all loans, debt and equity related instruments /issuances.

- Managing the relationship with all banking and external stakeholders (rating agencies, FI's, etc.) at the national / India level

- Manage the reporting requirements to Global HQ

Profile

As a successful candidate you should be a CA/MBA (preferably a CA) with 13 + years of work experience, should have worked on raising funds in more of debt based transactions to the tune of 1000 crores and should have worked with sizeable companies. S/he must be very strong on his/her knowledge of compliances related to corporate finance and equity / debt related compliances and related activities. You should have a strong track record of having worked on capital structuring and restructuring right from scratch. Additionally, you should be hands on in setting up and managing the treasury policies w.r.t. corporate finance like forex, interest rate, dividend policy. You must have a strong network with banks and come with hard negotiation skills.
