Planning and strategy :
- Strategise brand and communication outreach to diverse stakeholders for visibility and marketing of the organization's range of initiatives, policy advocacy efforts, and activities
- Oversee the creation of communication material - online and offline media, presentations, and background material for internal and external use
- Work with all verticals of the organization to enhance their outreach and develop their communication strategies Management
- Ensure highest standards of quality in all communication collaterals
- Oversee team of professional communication staff
- Manage agencies delivering communication services to the organisation and guide them for highest quality work
- Manage the organisation's brand
- Reputation management
Operational communication platforms :
- Manage existing platforms of in house magazines, emailers, website, social media, podcasts and newsletters as well as press releases with relevant and engaging content
- Leverage new channels and modes of communication to reach new stakeholders and expand outreach and engagement
- Oversee continuous social media presence including promotion and live coverage of flagship events, and increase engagement and viewership
- Editing and quality control of a range of publications in line with organisation's voice
- Guide preparation of various films based on organisation's work including drafting scripts
- Development of speeches, briefing notes and background papers for office bearers covering a range of topics in consultation with relevant verticals
- Oversee preparation and publication of retrospect and advertorials
- Guide preparation of annual report
- Work with media team for press releases and media interactions
- Work with information system team for flow of information to subscribers
- Maintain databases
Requirements :
- Proven capability of handling communications at a leadership position
- Strong research and writing skills, with strong analytical skills and creative thinking
- Ability to think and work logically and work precisely with attention to detail
- Ability to develop relevant strategies across media platforms for maximum impact
- Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members of different professional backgrounds
- Ability to multi-task and address competing priorities and deliver with short timelines
- Ability to produce quality deliverables in a timely manner
- Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- Experience in corporate setting of at least 15 years.
