Head - Corporate Affairs - eCommerce Startup

We have opening with one of our VC funded eCommerce firm based at Bangalore

- Responsible for developing and implementing the company's government relations strategies, practices and processes.

- Act as the primary management liaison between the company and federal, state and local governments.

- Provide leadership, strategy, vision and direction to identify, develop and implement best practices for government relations.

- Identify opportunities for thought leadership at a national level.

- Manage the company's membership with Industry bodies & Associations.

Profile :

Education : Graduate, advanced degree

- Familiarity and practical experience with Indian regulatory framework, industry bodies, agencies and processes.

Experience : Minimum 4 - 10 years professional experience

Knowledge and skill set :

- Working knowledge of Bureaucratic and police structures

- Skill to establish and maintain relationships with key personnel above.

- Ability to advocate effectively with government officials, the media and public audiences

- Articulate, communicative, open-minded.

- Bias for action - proactive.

- Ability to influence others while operating within a team.

- Highest degree of ethics, honesty and conviction.

- Process oriented - sensitivity to appropriate handling of matters through established procedure
