Your key duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing and building a team of copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
- Conduct & participate in copy workshops internally and externally with client to define a consistent tone of voice across all digital channels
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative propositions and copy for pitch briefs
- Developing and implementing creative copy writing strategies for social media posts, reels, email campaigns and creative content with the overall marketing and branding goals of the client.
- Creating, reviewing and implementing copy and captions for paid ads across the full funnel for paid media channels like Meta, YouTube, Google and other paid platforms with the overall business goals of the clients
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that all written content is accurate, compelling, and consistent with the brand's tone and voice and delivered on time.
- Conducting research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, trending topics, pop culture, digital formats, full funnel marketing and client requirements to inform copy writing strategies and ensure that all content is relevant and engaging to the target audience.
- Reviewing and editing copy to ensure that it is error-free, on-brand, and aligned with the brand's messaging and goals.
- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the brand's products, services, and target audience to create effective copy that resonates with customers and drives engagement and conversions.
Qualities:
To be successful in this role:
- You should have a strong background in copywriting, content creation & creative ideation
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and full funnel marketing, writing for specific audiences and best practices for digital media writing.
- Excellent leadership & communication skills
- Project management skills.
- You should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to write copy in additional language like Hindi, Tamil, Marathi or other regional languages would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of agency experience in copywriting, with a focus on social media copy and paid media copywriting.
