Content Manager

Job Role:

- You will be the chief content strategist who would create and manage content for a community platform and disrupt the way people learn and seek information. The person will report to the Head of Start-ups, will be part of the digital team and is expected to do everything to ensure success of the start-up!

- Your content initiatives should ensure customer engagement and positive customer experience

Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for developing, creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals

- Conduct user tests to gauge content effectiveness. Gathering data and make recommendations based on those results

- Identify the relevant topics which users are interested in and come up with new & engaging content. Stay up-to date with developments and generate new ideas/ themes to draw audience's attention

- Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices

- Coordinate with content owners/ freelance writers/ editors and supervise content across different verticals

- Optimize content according to SEO

- Develop an editorial calendar and ensure team & content development is on track

- Ensure compliance (copyright, data protection)

Experience & Skills

- 7-8 years of proven experience as a multi channel Content Manager & editor with leading publication/ website in BFSI space

- Degree in Journalism/ Mass Communication/ English

- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics

- Excellent writing skills in English

- Familiarity with social media

- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
