We are looking for Consumer Insights Head (International Business-Asia and Africa ) for Mumbai location with our reputed FMCG client dealing with Hair Care, Personal Care and Home Care segments .  Educational Qualification : MBA in Marketing from Premier Institutes only ( 2003 to 2007 Batch pass outs )   - Total Experience of 9 plus years with 4- 5 years of experience in Market Research with substantial exposure in the qualitative domain .  Reports in to : VP Marketing - International Business  Job Location : Mumbai   Job Description :   - You will be responsible for development, execution and analysis of consumer research and insights. You will be key consumer insights expert and will be required to establish understanding of consumers and consumer segments across various Asian & African countries.   - The position will work closely with marketing teams based in various parts of Asia & Africa.   - The incumbent will be required to bring fresh perspective and approach to the study of consumer behavior and its application to the business and marketing challenges.   - Being a part for the innovation team the incumbent will have to deal extensively with new product ideas and test their relevance in the life of a consumer.   - She/he will have to build consumer/product/usage insights to create differentiated proposition.   Identify key business opportunities/issues :   - In coordination with the marketing team, determine potential business opportunities and identify issues; Develop optimal research plans,create comprehensive usage and habit guides for all categories and markets  Project management :  - Conceptualize, manage and monitor communication evaluation, concepts and product tests in Asia & Africa  - Derive actionable insights from research reports for the brand team with help of research agencies; Co-ordinate projects with the research agencies  - Identify, stabilize and manage agency relationships across Asia & Africa  Competitor and market analysis :  - Analyze reasons for distribution, price, penetration, consumption & awareness by tracking retail and consumer panels, track analysis of studies on performance.  Direct consumer insights:  - Meeting consumers for in-depth understanding of expectations and collaborate with marketing teams to develop ways to address the gaps.  Quantitative research :   - Experience in an agency is mandatory. Additional client side experience is a plus.  Skills Required :  - Familiarity and Skills to use Qualitative Research tools/techniques  - Formulating research problem, data collection and data analysis  - Ability to conduct Qualitative Research and interpret results  - Understanding buyer behavior   - Competition and Market SWOT analysis  - Keen observer and enthusiastic about human behavior
