The work majorly involves :

- Contract Management

- Overseeing construction at the site-sites being undertaken by the EPC contractors through seamless coordination with respective Project Managers

- Project implementation

- Planning, Reviewing and Reporting

Client Details :

The Client works with everyone involved in growing solar power in India.They are independent power producers of the current capacity of about 300 MW spread across 4 states.they are planning for expansion to about 500 MW till the end of next year. Developers, EPC players, Engineers, Operators, Construction Companies, Landowners, Power Purchasers.We invest in and own these plants over the decades they produce power.

Description :

Contract Management :

- The person shall be responsible to oversee and manage contractual obligations under the contracts with the EPC contractor and interact with the EPC contractor as well as respective Project Managers on a regular basis to ensure timely execution of the project.

Overseeing construction at the site :

- Primary responsibility will be overseeing the construction of the projects at the sites being undertaken by the EPC contractors through seamless coordination with respective Project Managers, monitoring the pace and the quality of construction as per the targeted deadlines and taking prompt measures (including reporting to the management team on a periodic basis) wherever necessary to ensure the proper pace of construction.

Project implementation :

- Additionally, the responsibility shall include monitoring and ensuring timely execution of all such processes and activities that would be required for the successful commissioning of the project within the established deadlines. The activities would involve monitoring and ensuring that all clearances and approvals, open access wherever required, consent-to-operate (CTO) are obtained in a timely manner so as to ensure timely commercial operations of the project. The role will also involve working closely with the owner's engineer for receipt of material at site and EPC contractor's invoice processing.

Planning, Reviewing and Reporting :

- The responsibility shall involve keeping the management team updated on the implementation of the project through the issuance of comprehensive and periodic management reports and by flagging issues related to exceptions through specific exception reports.

Profile :

Experience required :

- To have overseen directly/ participated as a core member of the team responsible for implementing utility solar project in India with a capacity of at least 30 MW

Qualification :

- B.E./ B.Tech (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical)

- At least 5 -10 years of total work experience.
