Head Compliance & Risk with a leading Manufacturing Industry
- Establish strategy for effective monitoring of regulatory and corporate governance activities
- Drive adherence to statutory compliances of the business
- Ensure compliance to the provisions of Companies Act, listing agreements, corporate regulations and monitoring & reporting other applicable laws
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits to identify areas of potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.
- Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to address identified risks and ensure compliance.
- Prepare various documents required for filing e-forms with Ministry of Corporate Affairs as applicable to the Company
- Provide inputs and ensure adherence to law & regulations affecting the company, including corporate affairs, compliance programs, trademarks, protection, sales, international agreements, important legal documents and agreement and company policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic guidance/support regarding legal risks and implications for business - Conduct assessments of inherent risks and liabilities during merger and acquisition process
- Ensure organisation functions are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies - Ensure compliance related works with regard to statutory and regulatory requirements
- Conduct compliance risk assessment; evaluation of business activities to assess company risk areas
- Define and document internal compliance policies and procedures related to the standards established by the business that comply with applicable external legislations/regulations
- Responsible for implementation of compliance audits periodically on time
- Perform and manage daily compliance risk identification, inspection and reporting
- Develop and maintain preventive measures and establish all internal controls to adhere to compliance norms
- Manage and monitor updation of all company's records in relation with licenses, trade mark and intellectual property, patent, etc.
