Head - Compliance/Regulatory & GDPR - BFSI/BPO/Telecom

We are hiring for Head-Compliance, Regulatory, GDPR role based with a reputed MNC in Pune.

Education: Should be from a Legal Background. (Mandatory)

Role purpose:

- The incumbent is a key member of the Legal team and is expected to support the general counsel in leading Data privacy & Protection, GDPR and all policy and regulatory related requirements as per prevailing laws and regulations in India.

- The incumbent will be directly accountable for matters pertaining to Regulatory compliance.

- The incumbent is also expected assist the General Counsel and develop innovative and effective regulatory Risk mitigation strategies and solutions in accordance with business requirements which will support any new system or functional requirement within the Regulatory Framework to ascertain the magnitude of the Regulatory Risks in terms of monetary, reputation, liability / losses to the organization / clients.

- The incumbent will be directly responsible for matters pertaining to Data Protection and Privacy compliance and should have had previous exposure to Data Protection and Privacy matters and having prior experience of having dealt with the EU and / or other international regulations on Privacy and Data Protection, GDPR, Privacy Impact Assessment, Vendor on-boarding assessment, transition due diligence, GAP analysis, maintenance of Information Asset Registers, collection, storage, processing, purging and destruction of data and Partnering the business in a technology and non-technology Shared Shares environment.

- Implementation and Compliance with Data Protection and Privacy Policy. Implementation and Compliance with Transition Information Management system under DPP Policies

- The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting the General Counsel in setting up policies and procedures in conformity with Group standards on Data Protection and Privacy processes and mandates.

- The incumbent is also expected to work closely with the General Counsel and ensure compliance of the GDPR requirements.

- The incumbent will also be responsible for building a mechanism for ensuring there are no Data Protection and Privacy.

- The incumbent is expected to lead a team of compliance, Data Privacy and regulatory professionals and play an active role in creating a high performing team.
