Position Overview :&nbsp; Specific Skills :&nbsp; - Prior evidences of working with the following compliance standards - SOC2 Type 1 &amp; Type 2 SSAE18 standards - ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 - PCIDSS - GDPR - Awareness about the upcoming Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 Responsibilities and Duties :&nbsp; - Define the necessary level of knowledge on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirement across the organization - Develop the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual compliance work plan that reflects internal and external compliance required - Revise the compliance plan in light with new changes that need to be made - Guiding the compliance team in a productive, organized way to accomplish compliance and audit tasks - Oversee and monitor the implementation of the compliance program - Provide guidance, advice, training/educational programs to improve business- s understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements - Provide strategic direction to the management team on compliance - Evaluate the efficiency of implemented controls and improve them continuously - Draft, modify and implement company policies - Collaborate with HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations - Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to the CEO/Managing Director and possibly the board. - Interface with regulators/audit firms/client compliance teams and support them with internal coordination. - Coordinate efforts related to audit, reviews and examinations - Develop policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected improprieties, without any fear of retaliation and hold the corresponding part of the organization accountable - Coordinate internal compliance review and monitor activities, including periodic reviews of each department. - Independently do spot checks on matters related to compliance, to perform second level validation - Monitor and support external review processes - Monitor employee activity for policy adherence - Establish code and standard of ethics - Review incoming contracts and agreement for compliance related asks and include those asks in the corresponding work plan - Estimate effort and bandwidth required for continuous and ad-hoc compliance activities, work with the Chief Product Officer to define hiring needs, both in terms of internal headcount and external vendor support required - Hire and build a strong team to deliver against the defined/ad-hoc compliance work plan - Ensure that the privacy standards are adhered when sharing information with external partners Qualifications: Looking for proven experience as a compliance manager who has in-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations. A candidate intending to apply must have the following - - Excellent knowledge of creating reporting procedures and systems, record keeping - A business acumen/mindset supported by dedication to legality - Methodological and diligent individual with outstanding planning abilities - Analytical mindset to comprehend the complexities of procedure and regulations - Excellent written and oral communication skills Any certification to support evidence of strong compliance understanding would be a plus Experience Level - 8-15 years of total experience in driving compliance in small-mid sized organizations
