Head - Community/CSR - Aluminium & Power

The incumbent will foster and sustain an integrated approach for community service management for Bauxite Mines and develop strategic framework to achieve social license to operate & partnering community with the Company to achieve sustainable growth. The role will broadly include :

- Lead the team in formulating strategy for sustainable development and achieving local community partnership

- Conduct the ground sensitivity base line survey for community need identification and develop interventions to fulfil those needs.

- Community reach by gaining confidence and seeking consensus by creating awareness on community related benefits.

- Partnership with various community stakeholders for upliftment of their living standards/livelihood.

- Effective communication with stakeholders to create socio-economic impact.

- Perception management and development to get the maximum confidence from the local community.

- Constant follow-ups and visits to get the pulse on the happenings around the community.

- Maintain cordial relations with local administration and other such bodies.

- Business Plan and Budget preparation for the function keeping in line with Organizational needs for external relations and community management.

- Monthly Organization Review with Senior Management and providing updates to management.

Qualifications and other attributes

The candidate should be a Post Graduate Diploma In Rural Development (PGDRD) or equivalent and throughout 60%(Mo gaps in between).

The job requires the capacity to win and hold trust of communities by having a dignified presence and a nuanced understanding of execution challenges at a grass- root level coupled with solution oriented approach.

Experience : 12 -18 yrs (10+ experience in community management)
