- Looking for a hospitality client for their Chennai -

- This position reports to VP Marketing and designation will be AVP-Communication and to take care of Communications, Advertising and Promotions, Design and Creative led responsibilities.

Qualification: MBA (Marketing - with hotel marcom experience)

Job Description:

- Ideating and executing pan-India 'Communication' strategies to build and expand organization's presence using various external and internal platforms - to Employees, Guests, Members, Partners, Vendors, Resort Owners and other stake holders.

- Will form templates to the extent possible - as per the brand guidelines to ensure consistent, hi-quality, and quick turnaround of communication.

- Will work closely with various agencies to brief, design and release different content for print or digital purposes, as per the strategic brief.

- Will plan and execute various hotel, resort and brand level communication campaigns

- Will be fully / partly responsible for all forms of communication (internal & external) - newsletters, social content posts, PR articles, Photography and videography, brand films and all brand content digital plus offline.

- With the help of the team, you will also be required to keep a check on original, authentic, and fresh content creation and dissemination. Therefore, will also keep a strict tab on the language, tonality and presentation of the information in line with the brand approved standards across on all channels (internal & external)

- Will manage the creative agencies / team and ensure production of effective messaging for offline and online consumption as requested by the relevant departments are delivered in timely fashion as per agreed SLAs.

- Would be working together with relevant teams on annual and quarterly communications calendars, ensure these are shared to all stake holders with approved messaging.

- Will be the first point of contact with all the commercial and business development teams, take requests relevant for various tasks and deliver as per the requested time.

- Must build, share and maintain standard operating procedures for the duties undertaken. Must ensure these standards are maintained by the team.

- Will ensure smooth coordination between Marketing teams, regional / zonal marketing representatives and regional operations heads, general managers, F&B teams, Commercial and Sales head, thereby delivering with sense of responsibility and urgency.

- The position is highly interdependent with other departments in the corporate office, (HR, C-Suite leadership, MD & CEO and Chairman), Finance, etc.

- Will be responsible for communications and creatives budget and therefore will maintain balance of spends through planned ROI and will provide for periodic updates to the Head of Marketing

PR: Will currently reside with the Head of Marketing. May devolve to this incumbent eventually.

- Lead the public relations team / agency in delivering on strategic and tactical campaigns.

- Devise a plan to keep the 'conversations-on' with all key media - for the brand, the resorts, Leaderships, Chairperson, and the Managing Directors. Need be visit the regional media offices and build relationships with beat journalists and editors as deemed necessary.
