Head - Communication & Content - Ad Copy & Video Ad
About the Position:
You will be responsible for developing and executing our content strategy, creating engaging content, managing our social media, conducting market research, and analyzing marketing campaigns. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a strong writing background. You're a master juggler, managing multiple projects with grace, swiftly adapting to changes and always delivering on time. You also remain up-to-date with current trends, pop culture and social media etiquette.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, staying updated with industry trends, and driving brand awareness and lead generation.
- You will take the lead in conceptualizing, scripting, and producing video ad content that drives strong ROAS on Facebook, and Instagram.
- This involves leveraging your expertise in DTC video advertising in crafting high-impact DTC video ads that resonate with our target audience and drive conversions.
Refine messaging and positioning :
- You'll work towards continuously refining our messaging and positioning.
- This includes iterating on ad scripts, testing new angles and value propositions, and ensuring our video creative remains aligned with our overall brand strategy.
- Your goal will be to develop a deep understanding of what resonates with our audience and use those insights to inform ongoing creative optimization.
Stakeholder management :
Work alongside different internal & external stakeholders/ agencies to ensure consistent flow of communication on both copy and design fronts
Product videos :
Creating compelling explainer videos for our apps, social media channels
User-Facing Comms :
Draft copy for push notifications, SMS, in-app, WhatsApp comms and other user-facing touchpoints
Cross-collaboration :
Collaboration and brainstorming with the other members of the team to come out with innovative content ideas
NEED TO HAVE:
DTC video ad mastery:
- You have 2+ years of proven experience creating high-converting video ads for DTC brands, specifically on Facebook and Instagram.
- You deeply understand the unique creative elements that drive performance in the DTC fintech space.
Video production expertise:
- You have hands-on experience with all aspects of video production, from scriptwriting and storyboarding to shooting and post-production.
- You know how to craft compelling video narratives that engage viewers and drive action.
Direct response mindset:
You have a keen understanding of direct response principles and how to apply them to video ads that generate clicks, conversions, and ROAS.
Portfolio :
A strong portfolio of script writing, videos, social media content creation and small/big campaigns.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's/PG degree or equivalent experience in Advertising is preferred
- Strong command over language and ability to articulate creatively across different mediums
- Extremely creative, witty, enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate with 'Bharat' users
- Agency experience, FinTech experience is a plus
- Knowledge of regional languages is a plus
