Head - Commercial & SCM - Chemical Plant

Position: Head Commercial & SCM at Plant (Leading Chemicals Company)

Role :

- Manage the supply chain for the Plant.

- To be responsible for purchase, inventory management at plant, out bound logistics, import & export management, 3p inventory management, distribution of products across PAN India to various CFA locations

- Manage logistics to enable on-time and predictable delivery of material

- Collaborate with end customers to maximize logistics efficiencies

- Actively work to strengthen relationships with internal and external customer

- Supply chains and logistics functional areas to create joint supply chain strategies

- Improving profitability, growth and drive strategic partnerships with Vendors

- Ensuring statutory compliance, risk mitigation and quality, safety and hygiene

- Revamping the Route to Market strategies to improve Revenues and optimize

- Manage inventory to dynamic target operating levels

- Early identification of demand/supply continuity issues before they impact production

Requirements :

- Qualification: Graduate, MBA would be preferred

- 7-12 yrs of experience in various areas of SCM and Commercial at the Plant

- At least 5 yrs of experience in Demand driven supply chain

- Minimum 3 year experience in SAP, MM and Demand forecasting module APO

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Knowledge of local language and Hindi
