Head - Commercial, Construction procurement (A leading University)

- Shall be responsible to formulation, structuring and execution of construction procurement and execution contracts, as the works demand and as directed by the Construction

- Construction of Universities/Campuses

1. Prepare Construction Contracts for various work packages as gets defined for the project

Review and scrutinize commercial proposals received from vendors / contractors to suit requirements of the project in close consultation with Infrastructure Design & Implementation Head and Construction Manager

2. Undertake commercial negotiations with vendors / contractors to ensure the work packages are within the budget approved for the project

3. Scrutinize bills certified by Site team / Construction Manager for compliance to executed contracts and flag any deviation, complete documentation required to close any such deviation in contract conditions commercially or otherwise

4. Review Commercial proposals and get it approved from Construction Manager before proceeding for procurement

5. Manage and coordinate issuance of Purchase Orders & Work Orders

6. Coordinate with Project Team for commercial issues, tacking contractual deviation matters and for cost monitoring.
