Job Description :

- Bring in technology, tools and global best practices of cloud operations that combine innovation, efficiency and compliance

- Lead the Cloud Services team to manage 24/7 software and service delivery operations, as well as plan and execute improvement/re-architecture projects

Description :

Working directly with the CTO, this role is responsible for

- Bringing in technology, tools and global best practices of cloud operations that combine innovation, efficiency and compliance

- Leading the Cloud Services team to manage the 24/7 software and service delivery operations, as well as plan and execute improvement/re-architecture projects

- Understanding the company product features, technology platform and deployment and configuration options

- Managing and motivating team members to achieve organisation and individual goals

- Building strong partnerships with the product management, product engineering, and customer success organisations

- Working closely with pre-sales and business development team to meet grow the business and handle forward looking business requirements

- Establishing yourself as a go-to person for latest cloud technologies and best practices

Profile :

- At least 3 years of experience working with AWS, building and managing large scale software deployments. 

- At least 3 years of service delivery/operation, or project management experience

- Hands-on experience of application configuration and deployment on cloud based servers.

- Experience of working with containerization technologies (like Docker) and orchestration tools (like Kubernetes, AWS ECS) 

- Understanding and experience of automation tools and frameworks (Shell script, Python, Ansible, Terraform etc)

- Experience of tools and processes for application monitoring, incident and log management.

- Experience of defining scalable cloud architecture for enterprise software application and taking it to production delivery

- Experience of managing production environments with high process discipline and compliance, and handling customer issues, escalations, and cost-effectiveness 

- Understanding of OS, networking concepts, security access controls, and database concepts and administration. 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical staff.
