Requirement for - Head Civil for Baroda Location

About Client- : Reputed Water Treatment Co. who are into multi (water/Waste water) projects across Globe.

Years of experience : 18 to 25 years

Location : Baroda (Out station should be willing to relocate to Baroda)

Qualification :

- B.E. Chemical (Water Industry only, EPC Background) / B.E. Electrical (EPC Background) / B.E. Mechanical (EPC Background)/ B.E. Civil (EPC Background – Civil Design – Water Retaining Structures only).

Desired Profile :

- The candidate should be a leader. Should be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the team. Should be from EPC Background. Experience In Water Industry. SHOULD BE FROM ENGINEERING BACKGROUND.

The main expectations is to develop IEC Baroda Office as one of the satellite office in India .

Job Profile (Key areas)

1. To develop IEC Baroda to grow into one of the satellite office in India.

2. To provide Engineering Support to all the SBUs.

3. To develop and guide the Team of Engineers to achieve the IEC Goals.

4. To develop best Engineering practice and standardization of the same.

- Indepth discipline knowledge

- Design of "water retaining structure, RCC structures, Industrial buildings, pump houses, intake design, typical units of WTP/ STP / ETP "

- Good engg. practice

- Related Indian & International standards of civil structural engg.

- Indepth knowledge of std. design software like STAAD…

- Fair understanding of other engg discipline

- Updated knowledge of equipment & machinery

Areas of Responsibilty:--

Project Management:

- Support framing of the task force, review contract documents, plan delivery, review engineering progress of various projects IN ORDER TO ensure timely and cost effective project execution and project closure according to schedule

Detailed Engineering:

- Update detailed engineering standards, review basic enginering document, study technocommercial aspects of projects, evaluate available options, review designs/technical evaluation/vendor documents, solve technical problems related to engineering IN ORDER TO give the client cost effective, fit for purpose solutions

Expediting & QA:

- Solve technical problems at supplier/vendor end IN ORDER TO ensure availability of material in time to the agreed quality

Construction :

- Support construction to alter and change design on a need basis IN ORDER TO deliver according to the
milestones specified in the project plan

Team Management:

- Recruit engineering manpower, set objectives, track performance, provide performance feedback, Identify training needs IN ORDER TO manage and develop team
