Head - Channel Sales - BFS (8-10 yrs)
The Head of Channels is a National level role leading a team of Business Development Managers who will be responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with channel partners and consultants and build the Loan Eco-system.
Key roles and responsibilities :
1. Business Development :
a. Plan and deliver desired business targets from retail sourcing partners.
b. Work closely with sales team to achieve overall Sales Top Line.
c. Build and Drive key partnerships.
d. Responsible for managing partnerships, scaling them and accountable for delivery of business from all partners.
e. Actively coordinate, with the Sales team, activities to accomplish Sales targets and assumes responsibility for the coordination with premium partners, being the central point of contact.
f. Conceive and design sales promotions/ contests for channels and teams to boost productivity and efficiency.
g. Ensure organization branding, awareness and visibility at channel shops/ offices.
h. Monitor quality of leads sourced and help channel partners/ sourcing teams towards efficient originations.
2. Team Management :
a. Lead team of BD managers across locations to deliver desired channel experience and develop business deliverables.
b. Ensure team productivity in terms of lead origination and business delivery from channel partners.
c. Work closely with the sales team to track and review logins, sanctions and daily disbursements.
d. Develop strong relationships across internal and external support groups; enable effective teamwork to ensure key deliverables are met.
e. Provide feedback to the executive team and the alliance partners for the purpose of improving the effectiveness and results of the alliances
3. Business planning and forecasting :
a. Build revenue and sales business plan for each assigned channel partner to measure mutual success for company and the partner.
4. Business Intelligence :
a. Review the market landscape, identify partners, review business model of potential partners to bring relevant partnerships for review.
b. Track competition offerings, promotions and strategies for channel partners and students. Build and execute effective tools to ensure desired business delivery and customer experience.
c. Analyze upcoming market trends, review and process their relevance and share business development ideas which includes new age/ fintech aggregators.
Qualifications & Experience :
- MBA from Reputed Business School with min 8-10 years of relevant experience within a Banking and Financial Services environment having extensive business knowledge with Sales/Channels background.
- Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Self-starter and able to work independently as well as with teams.
- Required to travel extensively.
