Head - Channel Sales

The client company is one of the India's agrochemical company, which manufactures and distributes Agri Input including several plant protection products which consist of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.

Main Responsibilities :

- Sets short- and long-term channel sales strategies.

- Develops relationships and structures partnerships with channel partners.

- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

- Coordinates development of sales and marketing materials required for channel partners to be successful.

- Trains sales resources within channel and attends client meetings with them where possible.

- Directs leads developed within the channel to the appropriate sales person.

- Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels.

- Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales.

- Evaluates effectiveness of partner programs and improves upon Channel Development Duties.

- Driving sales revenue through building a strong indirect channel partner network.

- Educating the market / channel to the benefits of client products and services.

- Developing Go-to-Market plans for each of the channel partners and agent, ensuring the efficient execution of those plans.

- Analysis and optimization of relationship between solutions and sales channels.

- Responsible for identifying, prospecting, recruiting and on-boarding new channel partners and agents to refer or distribute client products and services through the effective deployment of the indirect channel management plan.

- Establish key metrics - sales and marketing related and oversee day to day operations.

- Serve as the partner's single point of contact for Key accounts.

- Present written quarterly reviews and annual plans to all levels of partner management Develop proposals and negotiate -channel, Agent agreements and any other legal.

- Oversee the creation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and account plans.

- Seek out new business opportunities within defined guidelines and timescales.

- Deliver consistently against all targets.

- Build, manage & maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement with channel -partners and agents.

- B. Sc. Ag, MBA with 12 to 15 years of experience in Channel Management from FMCG, SEED, Pesticide Industry.
