- Responsible for development of strategy for Channel Development.
- Create and execute Channel/ Sub Channel Development strategies in line with the overall sales strategy.
- Increase the reach of AM sales pan-India through new distributors and other partnerships.
- Identify new channels (digital, flagship, TaaS, etc.) to increase the reach.
- Develop an understanding of external trends, competition, customer current & future trends which is leveraged while building the channel development plan.
- Develop accurate forecast using market inputs and internal consumption to shape & execute the channel development strategy.
- Conceptualize the brand positioning, pricing, promotion, launch etc. to achieve objectives. Work with After sales, branding, trade marketing to execute the same.
- Evaluate and monitor channel development initiatives to drive continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness for dealer, customer and company.
- Facilitate consistent policies across channels/ markets to rely upon.
- Ensure that distribution is enhanced by identification of new channel partners and constant up gradation of channel partners.
- Ensure strict timelines for new distributor appointment and ramp-up.
