Client Details :

Our client is a leading Fashion brand known for their creative and innovative designs. They have been operating in the Indian market for more than 10 years now and specialize in a wide range of products for women including apparels, bags, accessories, etc. They are looking to widen their portfolio and expand their mark in the market and hence, are looking to recruit a Head of Buying, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR

Description :

Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for :

- Developing and implementing annual buying plan for the company

- Managing relationships with key strategic vendors, thereby driving value for the business

- Having a clear visibility of the product mix along with the responsibility of identifying and implementing new products in the range

- Developing the Annual Range Plan and Merchandise Strategy for the company

- Understanding the trends in the market through the analysis of historical data and subsequently forecasting for the seasons ahead

- Identifying and planning for the optimum range with the accountability of pricing and cost negotiations

- Managing a team of more than 4-5 professionals and being responsible for their growth in the organization

Profile :

- You will be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Fashion (NIFT Preferred), with around 10 years of experience in buying & sourcing functions. Prior experience of having worked in the Fashion, Lifestyle, and Apparel Space is a must. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills with the ability to manage business operations independently
