Head - Business Operations - IT

Responsible for the operations of Our clients Commercial Business (which has a revenue of approx. $125m).

This business has 800 consultants distributed globally (US, India, LATAM and Europe)

The operations head will be responsible for all operational processes for example:

1. Resource management (management of bench)

2. Sales processes

3. People management

4. Delivery assurance

The role will report to the President of Our clients Commercial business, and will be part of the Commercial leadership team.

Key responsibilities :

- Optimise utilisation through effective resource management

- Manage tracking of key business KPIs

- Resource allocation and escalation

- Project demand and financial tracking

- Measurement of customer satisfaction

- Conduct regular meeting and publish dashboards/reports for core business processes.

- Facilitation of the commercial leadership team

- Act as the change management function, to drive operational improvement

- Margin improvement

The candidate to have the following experience :

- Extensive experience of operations in an IT consulting business

- People supply chain includes working with Delivery teams, Project managers of the BU to have a forecast of Billability, Bench Management and to fulfil open positions

- Revenue forecasting and tracking while done by the Business Finance team the operations team will provide the inputs to them by interfacing with Practices and Projects

- Gross Margin management includes influencing the project teams and practices to manage the parameters like Rookie, Pyramid mix, Per person cost, Sub-Contractor, Globalization as per the Division needs

- The candidate should have experience of drawing out process and harmonizing disparate process by working with stakeholders. Key experience on change management is an added benefit.

- Experience of managing teams globally which will be located across US and India

- Ability to manage Business leaders and their operational needs.

- Experience of generating MIS and Dashboards that help influencing the decisions

- Experience of working with PSA tools

Experience : At least 20 years of Operations experience in an IT services organization with a global footprint
