As Head Business Intelligence for E Com Security &amp; Loss Prevention Function you will lead the analytics function, and strategize and manage the growing information needs of SLP Team. You will partner closely with business and SLP leaders to develop a deep understanding of the business and SLP needs, then create innovative, insightful, and user-friendly tools that enable effective management of Loss Prevention initiatives. You are expected to proactively drive analyses that will lead to deeper insights and recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to earn trust with partners and diverse stake holders. The team will build and maintain database solutions that are used for weekly/monthly reporting and drive SLP related decisions, which requires working with the massive amount of data. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions using both third-party and in-house reporting tools, modelling metadata, building reports and dashboards, and administering the platform software in order to create a culture where data and analytics are the foundation for a solid decision making process. Your focus should include a strong penchant for automation and the widespread application of Machine Learning across multiple business processes from SLP perspective. The position is based in Mumbai. Responsibilities - Lead and develop Business Intelligence team consisting of Buyer, Seller and Transactional Intelligence investigators focussing on pro-active risk identification and mitigation. - Formulate and establish procedures, plans and practices for investigators specific to investigation, fraud detection and risk intelligence ensuing appropriate solution and develop strategies to enhance decision making. - Identify appropriate tools for fraud detection, AI &amp; ML for activity and ensure its implementation and integration into the data-base as per Info-security guidelines in close coordination with IT Team. - Drive and review metrics on pro-active identification of risk investigation quality of intelligence team, service level agreements, and system misses. Identify root causes and create action plans to address and hold accountability. - Identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and develop the milestones for the team members ensuring successful delivery of business requirements. - Contribute cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, provide escalation matrix. - Partner with IT team to ensure that effective controls are developed and maintained for protection of data and take corrective action wherever applicable - Drive a zero defect culture by managing controllable root-cause defects and ensure implementation of controls and minimize losses. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 10+ years of experience - proven knowledge of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve Control) problem solving techniques - Proven analytic skills Preferred Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of large scale project management experience in leading multi-organizational initiatives, and driving team accountability to achieve impactful goals - Minimum 5 years of experience working in an Operations environment, driving improvements that have resulted in measurable business impact - Proven analytical aptitude, including the ability to mine and analyse large, complex data sets - Six sigma black belt level capabilities in deconstructing processes and metrics, to identify areas of opportunity and lead the development and implementation of new processes - Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and work under tight deadlines - MBA or Master's degree in related field
