Job Title : Head - Business Finance
The Role :
- The role will offer challenge and diversity and provide an opportunity to make a difference and involved in strategic planning and direction of multiple businesses.
- The management would rely on the incumbent's analytical assessment of business performance and forecasting accuracy to identify key success areas.
- This role would seek for a proactive and innovative business finance lead to contribute towards the goals of the organization.
Expected Qualification : Chartered Accountant, MBA (T1 preferable)
Year of experience :
- 10-12 years of post-qualification experience including 2-3 years of supervisory responsibility.
- M&A exposure would be an added advantage.
Job Description :
- Timely and accurate reporting of Monthly MIS at BU and at consolidated organization level
- Analyse business performance for changes vs. annual operating plan and provide insights and flag off risks and opportunities
- Identify opportunities to synergize and reduce cost/capital
- Work with Business Unit CEO/Finance lead on periodic business for continuous performance improvement on revenue and costs
- Drive and lead timely review of business results and co-ordinate on agreed actions implementation
- Periodic forecasting of financials for outer quarters and year
- Lead and drive annual budgeting process for the all the BUs
- Develop Long Range planning for the business on a 3-5 years horizon
- Monitor strategic investments made by the organization for timely action to be taken for investing/harvesting opportunities
- Work on project plans for new initiatives including assessment for project IRR, payback etc.,
- Support on M&A initiatives of the organization
- Ad-hoc business analytics requirements and industry bench-marking

- Ability to meet and establish dead lines
- Good expertise in SAP, MS office and other consolidation software
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in fast paced environment

- Ability to manage cross functional business finance and business leadership teams
