The company is a fast-growing FMCG company with a yearly turnover of 1200 - 1600 crores having its international presence in Bangladesh, GCC countries, Nepal and ROW market.

Position Head - Business Finance - Sales (Domestic) & Manufacturing
Location - Mumbai
Reporting to - Head Finance
Team - 6 (Regional Commercial managers, Plant finance, Project finance guys)
Role Purpose:
- Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions including commercial decisions. Influence decision-making; improve the understanding of
business performance; developing and delivering on plant strategy
Key Activities:
Planning, Strategy & Financials
- Partner with the business for overseeing and managing the continue development of budgeting, financial forecasting and operating plan for the organization.
- Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
- Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
- Identify critical relationships for the organization from a commercial standpoint and build those relationships for a long run.
- Present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk
- Ensure financial integrity with strict compliance to local statutory, regulatory, legislative and tax requirement
Operational/Functional:
- Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions
- Business analytics for effective decision making
- Prepare and drive NPD P&L discussions for pre launch approvals and postlaunch reviews
- Develop robust timely reporting of the spends with analytics and insights, driving cost efficiencies across line items
- Set the process for Pre and Post evaluation of all initiatives, proactively sharing insights for decision making
- Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior leaders and their teams
- Oversee material planning and ensure preparation of the plan in conjunction with Sales for various regions in the country
- Coordinate with Plant account managers and department heads to perform business planning resulting in preparation of comprehensive budgets
- Assisting with year-end audit
- Lead financial/ commercial aspects of the business for the domestic market and ownership of existing and new business models
- Provide commercial input into business reviews and potential opportunities
- Deliver profitability analysis at Brand/sku level, Channel and Customer level and linkage to commercial decisions
- Oversee all plants' (including company owned, 2P and 3P) financial record keeping, including accurate recording of financial transactions, and reconciliation of accounts
- Oversee the preparation of periodical budgets and reviewing reports of Budget Vs Actuals for all the plants; using budgetary controls to prevent over spending & take corrective steps
People / Self Development:
- Review and monitor performance of team members' and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs
- Drive high performance and recommend training as required for team's continuous development
- Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need
- Enhance engagement levels of the team, thereby increasing employee satisfaction in the department
