We are currently retained by a leading tech-based start-up in the country (well-funded and established) to hire a Head - Business Expansion (Marketplace) for them.
- This role requires someone who has proven experience in managing P&L, has grown a marketplace in B2B, and scaled business from 1-100.
- This role will encompass overseeing business expansion, formulating go-to market strategy, improving key metrics, and acquiring new customers. The role provides you the opportunity to work directly with CXOs to take the mission of scaling from 10-100.

Key Aspects of the role:
- Lead research and analysis on new market opportunities, strategic initiatives, business development, competitive landscape, and cross-business segment opportunities.
- Drive business growth and revenue, own and monitor the P&L (top line and bottom line).
- Developing business strategies in line with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
- Provide leadership to sales and marketing, including objectives and strategies for new launches, entry into new markets, customer acquisition strategies etc.
- Drive, supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company.
To fit the bill, you must have:
- BE/MBA from Tier 1 institutes.
- 12+ years of exp. in P&L management in tech-based product companies
- Scaled business in B2B from 1-10
- Built and led a marketplace
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and take challenges
