Hiring for an International Business Development Head with one of the top CRO (Contract Research Organizations), having Global presence and top MNC clients and revenue in excess of 800 Cr.
We are looking for a technically sound and strong person who carries more that 18 years of relevant selling experience in a CRO, preferably selling Analytical and/or Formulation services to pharmaceutical industry in India and International markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for client engagement
- Directly responsible for the sales target achievement in all service lines for the assigned territory
- Responsible for detailed and accurate sales forecasting, building pipeline and budgeting for overall territory and services
- Develop (along with manager) and execute territory plan to achieve sales goals
- Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, networking events and professional meetings for sales achievements, pipeline building and customer relationship building
- Build a network of contacts in a territory and effectively leverage it for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities/clients and expand existing business
- Analyze customer requirements and check suitability of offerings
- Gather market intelligence on customer organizations and industry activity and share relevant customer knowledge with the organization to ensure the opportunities are addressed
- Take regular feedback from clients and monitor customer satisfaction. Manage customer expectations and contribute to high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure proactive client communication as may be required
- Travel for in-person meetings with clients and partners and to develop relationships
- Responsible for payment collections as per agreements/contracts/company norms
- Liaison with internal stake holders
Technical Skills :
- Analytical services sales experience (generics and NCE development areas)
- Formulation services sales experience (generics and NCE development areas)
- Developed markets like EU, USA, Japan market exposure and related sales experience
- Defining sales strategy for the division and having keen understanding of developed markets
- People development skills
