Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development & Operations candidate to join our new travel company. This person will be responsible for onboarding new clients as well as overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company, including tour package & travel planning, product development, logistics, customer service, vendor management and legal & appellant issues. The ideal candidate (preferably from Tourism & Travel industry) should have proven leadership and management skills, along with a strong ability in strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify business opportunities through market research/networking and onboard them
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding market share
- Lead product development initiatives, staying updated with industry trends and customer preferences
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and managing partnerships
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, leading and developing a high-performing team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in a senior operations or business development role, preferably within the Tourism & Travel industry
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects related to the travel industry
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Willingness to travel extensively
