Job Objective: The objective of a business development manager is to identify, nurture and acquire new clients and opportunities to help us to scale our products.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads, and follow through to a successful agreement
- Create Sales pipeline and plan sales campaigns
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Setting goals for the Sales team and developing strategies to achieve the goals
- Creating SOPs to improve the client acquisition process
- Create business proposals based on client requirements
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
An Ideal candidate:- 10-15 years of experience in Business Development and Sales in manufacturing industry
- Educational background - Premier Tier 1 institutes
- Experience in Project Management - manufacturing like Tata projects, EPCs, or project consulting firms and sales working closely with projects team and procurement teams of large industrial companies is required
- Proven sales track record
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects, work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Should be target driven and able to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines.
