Head of Business Development

- Fyn is re-imagining the Indian logistics and transportation experience with its range of green, affordable, stylish, easy-to-use EV solutions in both personal and commercial spheres. We offer end-to-end micro-mobility sustainable EV solutions with data-driven analytics, particularly to augment productivity in last-mile logistics and transportation.

- Apart from direct institutional sales and exports, our scalable lease-back business model assures high returns to investors, by enabling high asset utilization, seamless operations, and greater outreach through shared mobility and commercial delivery logistics.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities by evaluating existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building feasible business solutions.

- Manage key client relationships and expand the profile to increase the reach of the company and its brands, helping in determining the company's long-term objectives and short-term plans.

- Lead Sales, Marketing, Client relationship management teams and build relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.

- Develop and strengthen the internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.

- Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.

- Track emerging market trends and foster to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.

- Identify, propose, and develops strategic partnerships and recommend new services.

- Provides advice on product development and distribution and promotion strategies.

- Work on structuring the team and managing the team to achieve the target revenues, guide and train the team in order to promote job autonomy and succession planning.

- Work closely with HR in preparing incentive plans and tracking the performance of the team and implementing strategies in order to achieve retention in the team.

- Plan brand awareness activities and increase the reach of the product across multiple cities and improve the product portfolio.

- Select prospective vendors and negotiate contracts.

- Fulfil requests for proposals from potential partners and customers.

- Help direct development of customer-facing web platforms and digital experiences.

Profile Sought:

- An entrepreneurial spirit that enjoys building a capable team, works to overcome hurdles and challenges, and gets things done well within targets.

- Someone who can make relationships well and fast, understand levers for people and groups, and quickly forms an effectively functioning team. An organized person, who has clarity on the status, decisions, and forward plans, at all times. Someone good at maintaining and reporting these well for all stakeholders.

- Good understanding of costs and resource management, and timeline management.

- Someone who enjoys continuous learning and explores new frontiers.


Requirements:

- Educational qualification with MBA or equivalent preferred

- 10+ years in Business Development in B2B and logistics background, expertise in handling multiple verticals, and experience building business strategies in start-up environment is a must
