Job Description :

Budgeting and Business Planning.

- To develop and control the budget for the sales function and to ensure that all financial targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements.

Market Information

- To study the market in order to gather information on the latest development in the market and to provide the captured information to the team members.

- To analyse trends in the business environment and identify new market opportunities.

Business Development:

- To initiate, coordinate and conclude the tendering / contracting process to successfully acquire tenders / contracts.

- To develop and lead the business development teams and the regional teams in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities.

- To attend the post-bid meetings i.e. Technical Discussions & Commercial Discussions.

- To negotiate with clients in order to ensure that the terms are as per the company's policy.

Business Promotion

- To represent the company in various seminars and exhibitions and be the face of the organisation.

- To identify, suggest and oversee promotional activities, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and within agreed budgets in order to raise the profile of the company and increase sales.

- To monitor the process of updating the company website, brochures and distribution of corporate gifts.

Customer Satisfaction:

- To regularly meet the key customers.

- To ensure that customer queries and complaints are addressed in a timely manner and as per the company policy.

Monitoring

- To monitor the performance of the sales function and take remedial actions when necessary, to ensure that sales targets are met.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company's maximum sales potential is realized.

- To conduct jobs won & lost analysis for records & future plans.

Team Development

- To recruit and motivate business-orientated teams accountable for the achievement of corporate and individual targets.

- To ensure comprehensive performance appraisal and development opportunities are provided in accordance with the company's strategy and policies.

- To identify the training needs of the team and facilitate training.
